Native landscapes in the Central Great Plains are dependent on fire. Without use of fire, invasive species will encroach, livestock forage quality will decline, and wildlife habitat health will deteriorate. And when fire has been excluded for decades, properties can become nearly unusable to the landowner. This can significantly reduce the value of properties.

Controlled Burning
We help landowners and managers reclaim or manage their property with controlled burning to reach a variety of goals. When you hire us to do a controlled burn we will write a fire plan, install fire lines, and complete the burn at the right time to reach your goals.
Fire Line Installation
Some landowners conduct their own controlled burns but have issues containing the fire. We help by installing fire lines that will make conducting and mopping up the fire easier and safer. We come in with our skid loader and mow the fire lines, and follow it up with our broom attachment that sweeps all of the cut material off of the line.

Consulting
Our consulting service can help landowners further their knowledge of controlled burning and how it can be used to benefit grazing, wildlife and reduce the potential and severity of wildfires. We write burn plans for clients, which increases legal protection and can create long-term fire management plans to reach the goals of the property.
Expert Witness
We provide investigations, reports, and testimony in personal injury and loss claims relating to pre-burn planning and site assessments, fire applications, and post-burn mop-up and assessments. We have additional experience in fire damage and smoke liability. We have been conducting prescribed burns for over 20 years. We have accumulated extensive knowledge of the use, application, and effects of controlled burning.
